Off to Uni or Moving On

I offer 1 to 1 tuition or small group sessions for

teenagers or young adults who would like to be

more confident cooking their own food.

We focus on healthy budget friendly vegetarian and vegan meals that can be batch cooked and frozen if necessary. We discuss how leftovers can be used to make a different meal the next day, keeping waste to a minimum. All ingredients are provided (there may be an additional charge for expensive ingredients). We discuss where to buy ingredients, why seasonal fruit and veg is generally cheaper, what to keep in the store cupboard, meal planning and budgeting for food. If required, a trip to the supermarket is offered so students can gather their own ingredients. Students are encouraged to clean up after themselves! A notebook to write down recipes and other hints and tips along the way will be provided. Please contact me for further details.
